We are performing @ planet m Bangalore (brigade road). It's an early morning gig starting at 7AM and ending around half and hour from that time on the 27th of May as a part of the virgin mobile rockathon.
Quite excited about this one as we are debuting 4 new songs :-)

all that bass
hari our bassist is off to hyderabad and immersed for the next one year at ISB. but before he left he made it a point to lay down the tracks for three songs on our upcoming E.P (did a kick arse job out of it too) and now in a series of fortunate events we now have a new bassist till hari is back (unless he decides get a suit and become an investment banker instead), her name is pearl and she has already fit into the groove and feel of our music :-) we are now working on our fourth and final song yakeen with her.

Updated Profile!!!
Hello fraands, how are you all doing? Don't bother answering that, it was a rhetorical question.
Arth has an updated profile, thanks to a few line-up changes and some other stuff that's been happening with us.
True, we've not been regular with blogging and all that, but there's been a good reason for it.
Hopefully with the days to come and the subsequent events that will transpire, we'll have some new and consistent information, until which time we'd request all of you to keep logging back on to check for updates, or better still add our blog to your RSS feed reader so you'll know what else is happening.
Check out our Facebook Page for the updated profile.
Shrenik took a few pics of us at the KR Puram railway station, and you can check those out on the facebook page as well. We find them quite funny, and hope that you will also have a smile on your face after checking it out.

barsaat..
... is a song that we came up with soon after our first sunday jam. As you can read in our earlier posts, it rained heavily that day except for the brief moment that we took stage :-)
The song slowly took shape in a jam session before our trip to G3 studios. While at chennai we sat down one evening and penned the lyrics for the song and during the time we had to kill when our songs were getting mixed at the studio we gathered inside the recording booth and started playing it.
Saikot, a good friend, who was visiting us took this video.

Freedom Jam Postponement and Other Stories
The much awaited Freedom Jam which was central to many things that our band had planned has now been indefinitely postponed. This information was given to us when we had been to play at the unplugged Sunday Jam which took place on the 3rd of this month.
Ever since the Sunday Jam has been divested of its much heralded corporate partner whose monetary contributions provided for the venue as well as the sound system that ran the jams, there's been talk of reviving the music strip at Cubbon Park, which is a place near a big rock where people would usually come and jam.
The horticultural department which is in control of the events within the park is required to provide written permission for bands to play there, and it is with the intent of carrying out a peaceful protest march after drawing the lots for the Freedom Jam slots that all bands met up there on sunday evening. Also on the agenda was an unplugged jam that we'd prepared three songs for.
To cut a long story short, Freedom Jam has been postponed from 15th August to sometime in September, as the cops somehow seem to view musicians as a threat to security. Additionally, due to the rains, the laptop which contained the list of bands that would be slotted was not brought out.
August 13th 2008, Wednesday shall be the day when the peaceful protest march will take place on MG Road. A symbolic parade of posters and musical instruments will accompany those who will take part in the march. It is on that very day that the lots shall also be drawn, and we're hoping we get a good slot.
In other stories, as mentioned before, we played on the rocks at Cubbon Park. It was a nice jam that Zabil missed out on since he preferred the company of civilized monkeys at Bannerghatta Park much more than that of the five of us at Cubbon Park. I don't honestly blame him for that.
We played three of our tracks, and had some support from people with umbrellas to ensure that our instruments did not get wet. Copious advertisements of our band blog aside, we did manage to draw curious onlookers who'd come to the park for some general visit, aside from those that gathered for the drawing of lots and we'd have had our first paid show if some of them had deigned to throw some coins or low-denomenation notes our way, but thankfully, that didn't happen.
Our demo CD cover is being prepared, with artwork by Anmol bhabhi (our drummer's better half) and photographs by Shrenik and maybe that will be out soon as well.
Many things happening all at once, and this blog will be the right place to find out all of it. Stay tuned to the RSS feeds, fellow Arthlings!
